2nd Marking Period Recap

We used Adobe Illustrator to create these shapes. We also learned how to send the shapes into the back to make it seem like it is outlining it. Colors were also added to show a better effect.Overall I'm enjoying Adobe Illustrator and making shapes are pretty fun!

In this project, I used PhotoShop to change the texture of a certain spot on an image. In this case a suit. The task was fairly simple but looked complicated at first. At first it wouldnt work out for me since I directly moved my image from the internet. I had to rasterize the image which took me a while but after that it was a piece of cake.

This project had almost identical steps to the previous one. Instead of a suit I had to use a face. At the time we were going over British occupation in India in our global class so that lead to use Gandhi's face instead of a mainstream celebrity.

In this project I used Photoshop to play around with motion blur. This image was chosen by me so I can add a motion blur. I used a smart filter to accomplish this task. To be honest this was the only project I was really proud of.

This "test" was one of the hardest things I've done. Since I am experienced with a computer and I know how to use one, it was hard to believe that I couldnt do this. It was a challenge but I did it..... kinda. Overall the steps were kinda vague and confusing.

This marking period was a great leap forward. It was the first time that we didnt use PhotoShop. We used other programs like Adobe Illustrator. From that we created shapes, and even created our own USB drive. It was the fist time I made something that actually looked realistic. This marking period was very fun. Cant wait to see whats next!

# 18 Adobe Illustrator - USB Drive

In this assignment I used Adobe Illustrator for the first time. I still used Photoshop, but only to save it as a JPEG. I really enjoyed using Adobe Illustrator and I hope to keep on making cool projects with it!

14 A Flag Displacement

Using Photoshop, I created a painted effect look with displacement maps. I used a brick wall as the background and the Canadian flag as the image being "painted" on the wall. Most of the steps were very confusing, but I still managed to complete it!
